Both Coaches emphasize a strong foundation and continuous development of skating skills. At the core of their coaching they believe in helping their skaters to set goals and work hard to achieve them. Katrina loves to focus on the performance aspect and Vassili enjoys focusing on the technical aspect. Together they create well balanced skaters. 

Team Mourzine is known for their exciting on ice productions from the NHL All Star Game to Holiday Shows at various venues. Their turn-key shows and productions are enjoyed by audiences all over the West Coast.

Both Coaches are expert music editors and provide smooth music cuts for each of their students. They enjoy working with their students to find pieces that suit each skater well and help to bring out their best musical interpretation skills.

As a master technician, Vassili is trained in skate boot fittings and blade mountings. He is in high demand for sharpenings and skate maintenance - skaters from all over the world sill send him their skates for mountings and sharpenings because they know and trust is excellent work. 

Katrina has an extensive background in Costume Design and has produced hundreds of custom-made garments for skaters of all ages and levels. She does everything from sketching, pattern drafting, sewing and alterations, to intricate bling application. She believes that when your exterior reflects your best self, your inner confidence follows suit!
